Drop Classes

During your enrollment appointment timeframe, you can drop a class in which you are currently enrolled.

NOTE: You may drop a course via the web through the second week of the semester. After the second week, all drops are done in the Registrar's Office in accordance with catalog regulations. If you drop a course after the second week of the semester, a 'W' for withdrawal is recorded on your transcript. (Please be advised, students from the School of Law should consult their academic calendar for drop dates as they differ from these posted deadlines.)

After logging in, navigate to the Drop Classes by clicking:

  1. Self Service from the Main Menu, and then Student Center.
  2. To access the drop tool, click the Enroll link on your Student Center page.
NOTE: If you wish to add a class in conjunction with dropping a class, use the Swap tool.
  3. Next, select drop on the Enroll tab.
  4. There are three steps to complete when dropping a class.
