Clearing Browser Cache

If you experience errors while viewing or updating information in the SA system, the first step should be logging out of the system, clearing your browser cache, and restarting your browser.

Internet Explorer 7.0

  1. Log out of the SA System
  2. Click Tools
  3. Click Internet Options
  4. In the Browsing History section, click Delete
  5. Click Delete files...
  6. Click Yes
  7. Click Close
  8. Click OK
  9. Close and reopen Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer 6.0

  1. Log out of the SA System
  2. Click Tools
  3. Click Internet Options
  4. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete files...
  5. Click OK
  6. Click OK
  7. Close and reopen Internet Explorer

Firefox 3.0

  1. Log out of the SA System
  2. Click Tools
  3. Click Clear Private Data
  4. Check the Cache checkbox
  5. Click Clear Private Date Now
  6. Close and reopen Firefox

Firefox 2.0

  1. Log out of the SA System
  2. Click Tools
  3. Click Options
  4. Click Advanced
  5. Click Network
  6. In the Cache section, click Clear Now
  7. Click OK
  8. Close and reopen Firefox

Firefox 1.0

  1. Log out of the SA System
  2. Click Tools
  3. Click Options
  4. Click Privacy
  5. Next to Cache, click Clear
  6. Click OK
  7. Close and reopen Firefox

Safari 2.0.1 and higher

  1. Click Safari
  2. Click Empty Cache
  3. Click Empty
  4. Close and reopen Safari
